About us
Located in Downtown New Port Richey, FL, an historic town along the banks of the Cotee River on the west coast of Florida, the restaurant occupies the former hardware store. The building, built in 1926, still has the high ceiling, original wood floor and barn doors reminding people of their favorite haunts up north.

Meet the Owner
Joe Nordon was born & raised in Abington, Pa. just outside of Philadelphia. Since working in his uncle’s restaurant beginning at the age of 12, he has always had a love for the business. After completing culinary & restaurant management school he began his career with Stouffers, in their restaurant division. After managing several Jack in the Box units and a Holiday Inn in center city Philly, he moved with his wife Marianne to Clearwater FL.
In 1979 he opened his first restaurant in Dunedin, FL by the name of “Top of the Round”. After 5 successful years he sold the business & went back to work in the corporate world. A dozen years past, his children Kim & Joey were growing and the restaurant itch was coming back.
What began with a 10 seat cafe in 1997 has blossomed into a 153 seat full service restaurant, Boulevard Beef & Ale. The uniqueness comes from the fact that ALL the cooking is done in front of the customers and we serve no fried food. We try to create an atmosphere that is nice enough to conduct business but casual enough to relax.
In his own words...
I believe that a large part of my responsibility is creating an environment that allows a woman to feel comfortable when entering alone, success is in the food. To our regulars....Thank you for allowing us to serve you for the past 22 years.
